    Drew University seeks applications for a Digital Scholarship Technology Manager. This position is 12-month, full-time with an anticipated start date of Summer 2018.

    The Digital Scholarship Technology Manager is a new position designed to advance the digital humanities (DH) and digital scholarship (DS) at Drew University. Reporting to the Director of Instructional Technologies, the incumbent will work in collaboration with technologists, librarians, faculty, and students. An initial focus will be Digital Drew, an interdisciplinary initiative funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to strengthen inclusive, integrative, project-based digital pedagogies across the institution.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Supports technologies used in the university's digital humanities (DH) and digital scholarship (DS) initiatives, including but not limited to web hosting and web applications available from Drew Domains;
    • Provides direct support and consultation to faculty involved in digital projects;
    • Conducts training workshops on current and emerging DH tools;
    • Supervises and mentors part-time student Technology Fellows;
    • Participates in DH outreach and advocacy initiatives;
    • May participate directly in DH projects, in collaboration with faculty, instructional technologists, librarians, staff, and students;
    • Participates in development of DH/DS lab facilities, computing, hardware and peripherals, and software;
    • Stays current in the field of DH and disseminates information to the campus community
